Nationally observed in May, Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM) is meant to honor the rich and diverse culture and contributions of AAPI. The AAPI community has played an essential role in shaping our nation's history and continues to enrich our society in countless ways. From the arts and sciences to business and public service, the achievements and resilience of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders are truly inspiring. Let us take this time to recognize the issues affecting the AAPI community and what we can do to help. Now more so then ever we must commit ourselves to protect the prosperity of the AAPI community free from discrimination and violence.
